Onboard Glow Control by Rainbow-Tronic
From a free-programmable throttle position and via an additional battery GlowControl heats the glow plug proportionally up to idling position where the maximum heating is reached and therefore glowing is strongest.
That’s operates a process, constantly adapting to the ignition/glow temperature and therefore, an ideal flow of burning for the overall motor torque, especially in the low range speed segment. Additionally, the transition from low to high speed is influenced positively and all this with an extreme small consumption of energy and a minimum of weight.
The GlowControl is simply connected via a Y-cable or via a mix on a free receiver channel parallel to the gas servo.
It is based on the latest microprocessor technology, made in Germany, of industrial quality and is designed for the deployment in methanol engines with 1, 2 and 4 cylinders.
Available both in 1s and 3s Variant for Li-Ion/LiPo applications
1-2 V4 - On-board 1s low voltage glow heater for 1 to 2 glow plugs
5x V4 - On-board 2s low voltage glow heater for 5 glow plug radials
1-2-4 V3 - On-board 3s high voltage glow heater for 1 to 2 or 4 glow plugs
