Lightweight Cooling Tubes as I use them on my installs.
They can be used to either assist with your heat management or with supplying cool air to your carburetor. In most if not all cases this will unlock additional performance.
As for supplying the carburetor - should the fit be tight simply crimp and glue the end of the tube shut, then cut a window into the side of the tube to feed the carb.
The aluminum hose is best for pressurized feeds, the corrugated hybrid tube best for suction application (cooling) or where a harder shell is needed due to your application and, very importantly, it can easily be glued to fiberglass parts to make for intakes or exit ports.
