The Fiala story
Fiala Motors, a division of Fiala Prop s.r.o., began producing four-stroke engines in 2013, continuing the engineering heritage of Valach Motors. In 2015, the expanding engine portfolio was officially introduced under the Fiala Motors brand.
Today, Fiala Motors offers an extensive range of four-stroke engines, from 60 cc single-cylinder engines to the flagship 800 cc seven-cylinder radial, including boxer, inline, and multi-cylinder radial configurations.
Beyond model aviation, Fiala has developed purpose-built propulsion systems for professional UAV applications. These four-stroke boxer engines can incorporate electronic ignition, electronic fuel injection, electric starting, and integrated generator systems with power output configured to customer requirements.
Designed for high endurance, low fuel consumption, and reliable operation at altitude, Fiala UAV propulsion systems are engineered for demanding unmanned aircraft applications, including operation at altitudes of up to 5,000 meters (16,400 ft).
