Fiala UAV Engines

 

Our UAV four-stroke engine systems are specifically engineered for professional unmanned aircraft applications, with a strong focus on reliability, operational longevity, fuel efficiency, and consistent performance.

 

The range consists of four-stroke, horizontally opposed boxer engines available in the following displacements:

 

  • 85 cc

  • 120 cc

  • 140 cc

  • 170 cc

  • 210 cc

 

Standard Equipment

Each UAV engine system is supplied with an integrated engine management and fuel delivery package, including:

  • Electronic Control Unit (ECU)

  • Electronic fuel injection

  • Fuel pump and filter

  • Engine temperature sensors

This integrated configuration provides precise fuel management and engine monitoring while simplifying integration into professional UAV platforms.

 

Optional Equipment

A comprehensive range of components is available to configure the propulsion system for specific aircraft and mission requirements:

  • Electric starter system

  • Exhaust system

  • Oxygen (O₂) sensor

  • Fuel sensor

  • Galvanically isolated onboard power interface

  • Auxiliary display for airframe installation

  • External configuration and programming unit

 

Generator Options

Integrated electrical generation systems are available in several output configurations:

  • 600 W

  • 950 W

  • 1,700 W

 

Power Management / DC-DC Conversion

Controller configurations can be equipped with:

 

  • 1–2 high-power DC/DC converters

    • Adjustable output: 3.3–42 VDC

    • Maximum current: 20 A

    • Maximum power: 600 W

 

  • 1–2 auxiliary DC/DC converters

    • Adjustable output: 3.3–24 VDC

    • Maximum current: 7 A

    • Maximum power: 70 W

 

  • 1–2 dedicated outputs for onboard battery charging

 

The modular system architecture allows the engine, generator, power management, sensing, and auxiliary systems to be configured around the electrical and operational requirements of the individual UAV platform.
